Neck or centre back
The main label, folded into the neck or centre-back seam: the first thing the wearer reads, so legibility at the finished size decides the weave.
كيف تُحدَّد مواصفات البطاقة
A patch is seen from a distance and lives on the outside of the product. A label sits inside the seam or against the skin and goes through every wash the garment does — so different things decide its specification.
Woven carries the small text a label is usually asked to hold: letterforms, fine lines and dense logos survive because the label is woven on a loom instead of stitched. Embroidery is a different process rather than a lesser one — it is simply the wrong tool for a dense multi-line composition or a text-heavy content block, and we would rather say so during review than produce a label that cannot be read.
So a label is reviewed the way the garment will use it: what the smallest element of the artwork is, whether the size you have given is the flat size or the folded size, which fold keeps the brand mark facing out of the seam, how the label is attached, and how the packed label has to arrive on your line. All of it is confirmed on the spec sheet before sampling, and the approved sample is what the bulk run is measured against.
Most label conversations move through the same five questions, in this order.
We quote against a specification, not a wish. Size, weave or print, fold, attachment, quantity, packing and destination all move the number, so they are confirmed before the quote is built.
Bulk usually runs 7–12 days after artwork approval. Rush feasibility is checked case by case — capacity, material, artwork status and shipping method — and never promised before those are confirmed.
Colour matching, logo proportion, small-text clarity, woven detail, edge finishing, finished size and bulk consistency are stated inspection points, not goodwill. They are written down because they are checked.
The approved sample, artwork version, colour references, structure and packing specification stay with the project record. That record is what makes the second order match the first.
Mixed accessory programmes, neutral or white-label packing, recycled material options and compliance documents — reviewed against your requirements instead of answered with a slogan.
Placement & buyers
The placement decides the fold, the size and the attachment. Tell us where the label goes and the rest of the specification follows from it.

A leather label sewn on as a patch or tab, for denim, bags, headwear and workwear where the branding is meant to read like hardware.
Main labels, side-seam tabs and content labels that carry the brand on every unit of a drop, in the same run as the patches.
Programmes where the label has to survive wear, water and abrasion — or move to a moulded PVC and rubber label instead of a woven one.
Woven tabs, leather patches and moulded labels that take daily handling on headwear, backpacks and travel goods.
Repeat programmes where colour, wording and structure have to come back identical on every replenishment.
Per-piece and neutral packing, white-label packing, and printed data labels that arrive ready for the fulfilment line.
Label, patch and keychain sets produced under one record and packed by set or by piece for the end client.
Label structures
The artwork decides the structure, not preference: line weight, the smallest text and the conditions the label meets in use. Send the file at its final size and we will say which of these reproduces it faithfully.
01
Woven on a loom rather than stitched, so letterforms, fine lines and dense logos hold at the size a garment label actually is. This is the label most brands use at the neck, centre back and waistband.
02
Artwork is printed onto the label instead of woven, which keeps gradients, photographs, long colour lists and text-heavy content inside the artwork. Printing is also the route for variable data: serial numbers, QR codes, barcodes and SKU labels.
03
Moulded rather than woven: 2D or 3D relief, multi-layer construction and Pantone-matched colour on a surface that tolerates water and abrasion. The label for gear that gets used hard.
04
Leather is cut to shape and finished as a sewn-on patch or tab for denim, bags, headwear and workwear — the label that is meant to read like hardware rather than like a tag. A PU alternative is available where a non-animal material is required.
Specification
Three decisions carry a label: how big it is, how it is folded, and how it is attached to the garment. All three are confirmed on the spec sheet before anything is sampled.

The fold you are quoting can be read against the flat-size and folded-size measurements on your spec sheet.
| Label type | البنية | Detail it holds | Surface | أين يُستخدم |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| منسوجة | Woven tape on a loom | Small text, fine lines, dense logos | Soft, flat, folds into a seam | Neck, centre back, waistband, side seam |
| مطبوعة | Artwork printed onto the tape | Full colour, gradients, long text, variable data | Soft, flat, sharp edge on cut labels | Content and care labels, size and brand tabs |
| PVC & rubber | Moulded in 2D or 3D, multi-layer | Relief shapes, bold marks, Pantone colour | Water and abrasion resistant, raised | Outdoor, tactical, footwear, bags, workwear |
| جلد | Cut leather, edge finished, sewn on | A solid mark, stitched rather than woven | Firm, ages with the product | Denim, bags, headwear, heritage styles |
A woven and a printed label can carry the same logo and still not be interchangeable: the weave holds fine linework, the print holds colour. If your label has to do both, we quote the artwork that gives the closest result at the size you need.
Materials & data
Material follows the application — what the label touches, how often it is washed and how much abrasion it meets. The printed route also takes the data your own label used to carry.
Polyester, nylon, satin, cotton twill, RPET and GRS-certified recycled material, with leather and PU for patch-style labels.
Soft PVC and rubber compounds in 2D and 3D, colour-matched against Pantone references, with multi-layer structures and sew-on or hook-and-loop attachment.
Serial numbers, QR codes, barcodes and SKU labels are supported where the label is printed, so one artwork version can carry per-piece data.
Standard individual packing, OPP bags or a custom bag, plus neutral and white-label packing where the label ships straight into your own fulfilment line.
Quality management here runs on systems that are easy to blur together, so we name them separately: a BSCI social compliance audit, and GRS (Global Recycled Standard) for recycled material. Customer audits, supply-chain audits, project cooperation and brand-authorised production are a different category again, and we describe them as what they are instead of presenting them as one certificate. If your sourcing process needs the certificate names, numbers and the scope each one covers, ask during review — and if your label has to state recycled content or match a traceability requirement, raise it with the artwork so the structure and the wording are set before sampling.
The wording of legally required content on a care or content label follows your market and your garment. We produce exactly the text and layout you approve and confirm it stays legible at the finished size — the compliance decision stays with your team.

Manufacturing
Label programmes run through our 7,000 m² facility in Guangzhou rather than being subcontracted, so artwork versions, weave or print structure, colour references, packing and quantity stay in one production record.
One facility for artwork review, production, finishing, inspection and packing, so a label is not handed between suppliers.
Artwork, production, finishing, inspection and packing teams working from the same written specification.
Camera-guided contour cutting and clean edge finishing, used on labels as well as patches, including irregular shapes.
The same floor runs the embroidered patches and small merchandise that ship alongside label programmes, in one carton.
Label and patch production on one floor, working from the same artwork version and colour references.
Vision-guided cutting and edge finishing: the step that decides whether a folded label stays square in the seam.
Inspection against the approved sample: colour, logo proportion, small-text clarity, weave detail, size, attachment and quantity.
مراقبة الجودة
Written down, because every row below is a place a label batch can quietly go wrong: the wrong thread lot, a fold that sits out of position, a second colour nobody checked.
كيف يسير الطلب
Each stage has an owner and a record, which is why a reorder is faster than the first order.
Send the artwork with the intended size, quantity, weave or print, fold, attachment and destination. We check line weight, the smallest text, colour count and colour references, and confirm which structure reproduces the design.
The artwork is prepared for the loom or the press — weave structure or print file — with colours set to your references, and a proof goes back for sign-off.
A physical label sample is produced and sent for approval. Custom samples are quoted, and the approved sample becomes the production standard. Where conditions allow, a sample can be produced in about 2–3 days.
Approved work runs, then cutting, folding, edge finishing and any backing or attachment step, with the specification held against the approved sample.
Inspection against the approved sample, packing to your requirement (loose, per piece, OPP or custom bag), carton marks and export documentation before dispatch.

الأسئلة الشائعة
Short answers to what buyers ask before sending artwork. Anything project-specific is confirmed in writing during review.
Vector artwork is ideal — AI, PDF, EPS or SVG with fonts outlined — and a high-resolution raster file also works. We review line weight, the smallest text, colour count, thread or ink references and the finish size before confirming the structure. If the design cannot hold at the size you need, we say so and propose adjusting the size, simplifying the artwork or switching to a woven, printed or moulded label instead of producing a specification that cannot work.
It depends on the weave density, the number of lines and how dense the logo is around the text. We test the smallest element of your artwork at the actual finished size and tell you the readable minimum before sampling, rather than quoting one figure that would be wrong for half the labels we make.
An end fold suits a label sewn into the neck seam, a centre fold is common on centre-back and side-seam labels, and a straight cut label is often sewn flat or supplied loose. Tell us the placement and send the size you have, and we confirm the fold and the finished measurement — flat size and folded size — on the spec sheet before sampling.
Colour matching is a stated inspection point, not goodwill: thread or ink is matched to the reference you supply — Pantone, a thread reference or a physical swatch — and the approved sample becomes the benchmark for the bulk run and every reorder. The colour references, the artwork version and the production structure stay with the project record, which is what makes the second order match the first.
Each label type has its own standard MOQ, and a woven label carries a loom setup that a patch does not, so label minimums are usually structured differently from patch minimums. There is limited flexibility depending on the weave or print, the artwork and the order structure, and below the standard MOQ the unit price may increase. We confirm the figure for your specification during review instead of publishing one number for everything.
Bulk production usually takes 7–12 days after artwork approval. Rush orders are possible but confirmed case by case against production capacity, material, process, artwork status, sample requirements and shipping method, so we do not promise a rush date before those are checked. Where conditions allow, a sample can be produced in about 2–3 days and some bulk runs in 5–8 days.
The wording follows your market and your garment, so it is confirmed by your own compliance team and stays your responsibility. We weave or print exactly the text and layout you approve, place it as agreed and confirm that it stays legible at the finished size. If the required content changes after the sample is approved, tell us before the bulk run starts rather than after it ships.
The approved sample, final artwork, colour references, materials, structure and packing specification are kept with the project record. A reorder is then produced against that benchmark instead of being re-developed from scratch, which removes the most common cause of a second batch that does not quite match the first.
