What it is

A moulded label, not a woven one.

A PVC or rubber label is moulded, so there is no thread to fray and no weave to blur. The work covers 2D and 3D effects, multi-layer construction, custom shapes, printed PVC, multi-colour filling, Pantone colour matching and a soft rubber texture. It is the label for products where the branding has to survive the product being used.

Production control

Layers, line width and colour.

Production control focuses on colour consistency, layer definition, small-text feasibility, line width, edge quality, dimensions, backing strength and bulk consistency. Colour is matched to the references you supply, and where colour matters we confirm it from a PVC colour sample or a physical sample rather than from a screen, because screens and materials never match exactly.

Attachment and placement

Tabs, patches and moulded badges.

Labels are attached by hook-and-loop, sew-on or an adhesive structure, confirmed against the surface they are going onto. Placement is usually a tab on a bag or pack, a moulded badge on headwear or footwear, or a label panel on workwear, which is why the position and the finished size are agreed before sampling.

Use a moulded label where the product meets rain, abrasion and repeated handling — outdoor and tactical gear, backpacks, workwear, footwear and headwear — and keep a woven label for the places where the label is mainly read, such as the inside neck of a garment.

What we need before this can be quoted.

Artwork
Vector artwork is ideal — AI, PDF, EPS or SVG with fonts outlined — and a high-resolution raster file also works. Send it with the product type, size, quantity, material, backing, packing requirement, application and the date you need the goods in hand.
Sample
A physical sample is produced and approved before bulk, and the approved sample becomes the production standard for that run and every reorder. Custom samples are usually chargeable, and by agreement the sample fee can be credited against the bulk order.
Quantity
Each product has its own standard MOQ, and for many custom items it starts at around 100 pcs. There is limited flexibility depending on the process, the artwork and how the order is put together, and below the standard MOQ the unit price may increase. The figure for your specification is confirmed during review.
Colour
Pantone is used as a production reference: thread colour card, PVC colour sample, material sample or a physical sample. Screens and materials never match exactly, so where colour is critical we work from the reference you supply and sign it off on the sample.
Lead time
Bulk production usually takes 7–12 days after artwork approval. Rush orders are accepted but confirmed case by case against capacity, material, process, artwork status, sample requirement, shipping method and the date you need it — so we do not promise a rush date before those are checked.
Packing
Individual packing, OPP or a custom bag, backer cards, barcode and SKU labels and carton marks as required — plus neutral and white-label packing where the goods ship straight into your own fulfilment line.
