What it is

A stitched patch, not a printed one.

An embroidered patch is built from coloured thread on a base fabric such as twill, felt or canvas. Coverage can be flat, high-density or full, and the effect can add metallic thread, selected sequin or mixed materials. The stitched surface is raised and tactile, and the border usually reads as a badge or crest at a distance, which is why embroidery is the default for uniforms, caps, jackets and bags.

How it is made

From artwork review to the finishing line.

Before anything is stitched, the artwork is reviewed for logo proportion, small text, fine-line feasibility, stitch direction, stitch density, thread colour, border structure, final size, backing and the cutting line. The design is then digitized, a physical sample is produced for approval, and bulk production runs across the 50+ embroidery machines. Contours, lettering and inside cut-outs are finished on our 30+ vision-guided cutting machines, then backing is applied and the pieces are inspected.

What can be customised

Size, thread, border and backing.

Size, shape, thread colour, base fabric, border and backing are all quoted to your specification. Backing options are sew-on, iron-on or heat-seal, pressure-sensitive adhesive and hook-and-loop, with backing lamination and heat-press application done in house. Special threads and mixed-material constructions are available, and colour is matched against the reference you supply — a thread colour card, or a physical sample where colour is critical.

Embroidery holds bold shapes, large lettering and borders well. Where a design carries very small text, fine lines or dense detail, a stitch cannot resolve it at the finished size, and we say so rather than producing a specification that cannot hold. We explain the risk and recommend adjusting the size, simplifying the artwork or switching to woven or PVC, which reproduce fine detail on a smoother surface.

What we need before this can be quoted.

Artwork
Vector artwork is ideal — AI, PDF, EPS or SVG with fonts outlined — and a high-resolution raster file also works. Send it with the product type, size, quantity, material, backing, packing requirement, application and the date you need the goods in hand.
Sample
A physical sample is produced and approved before bulk, and the approved sample becomes the production standard for that run and every reorder. Custom samples are usually chargeable, and by agreement the sample fee can be credited against the bulk order.
Quantity
Each product has its own standard MOQ, and for many custom items it starts at around 100 pcs. There is limited flexibility depending on the process, the artwork and how the order is put together, and below the standard MOQ the unit price may increase. The figure for your specification is confirmed during review.
Colour
Pantone is used as a production reference: thread colour card, PVC colour sample, material sample or a physical sample. Screens and materials never match exactly, so where colour is critical we work from the reference you supply and sign it off on the sample.
Lead time
Bulk production usually takes 7–12 days after artwork approval. Rush orders are accepted but confirmed case by case against capacity, material, process, artwork status, sample requirement, shipping method and the date you need it — so we do not promise a rush date before those are checked.
Packing
Individual packing, OPP or a custom bag, backer cards, barcode and SKU labels and carton marks as required — plus neutral and white-label packing where the goods ship straight into your own fulfilment line.
