A small stitched piece, built to be carried.
An embroidered keychain is coloured thread stitched onto a base fabric, cut to a fob, mascot or emblem shape and closed with the hardware the design needs. Coverage can be flat or high-density, and the effect can add metallic thread or mixed materials. Because the surface is stitched rather than printed or moulded, it reads as a badge in the hand and picks up the same texture a patch is bought for.

The keychain is produced on the same 50+ computerized embroidery machines that run embroidered patches and embroidered lanyards. That matters for a programme rather than for a single order: a key fob, a patch and a lanyard can be developed from one artwork record, in one colour reference set, and produced on the same schedule instead of being matched up after the fact.
Artwork review
What a stitch can hold at keychain size.
Logo proportion, small text, fine lines, stitch direction, stitch density, thread colour, border, final size and backing are reviewed at the finished size before anything is quoted. A keychain is small, so the review carries more weight here than on a patch: where lettering is finer than a stitch can resolve, we say so and recommend a larger finished size, a simplified artwork or a woven or printed body instead.
Where it is used
Key fobs, mascots and club merch.
Embroidered keychains are bought as brand key fobs, as mascots and character pieces, and as club, school and team merch ordered together with the badge. They are also used on e-commerce and retail lines where the keychain ships with a bag or a garment, which is why packing is quoted per piece rather than assumed.
Before you order
What we need before this can be quoted.
- Artwork
- Vector artwork is ideal — AI, PDF, EPS or SVG with fonts outlined — and a high-resolution raster file also works. Send it with the product type, size, quantity, material, backing, packing requirement, application and the date you need the goods in hand.
- Sample
- A physical sample is produced and approved before bulk, and the approved sample becomes the production standard for that run and every reorder. Custom samples are usually chargeable, and by agreement the sample fee can be credited against the bulk order.
- Quantity
- Each product has its own standard MOQ, and for many custom items it starts at around 100 pcs. There is limited flexibility depending on the process, the artwork and how the order is put together, and below the standard MOQ the unit price may increase. The figure for your specification is confirmed during review.
- Colour
- Pantone is used as a production reference: thread colour card, PVC colour sample, material sample or a physical sample. Screens and materials never match exactly, so where colour is critical we work from the reference you supply and sign it off on the sample.
- Lead time
- Bulk production usually takes 7–12 days after artwork approval. Rush orders are accepted but confirmed case by case against capacity, material, process, artwork status, sample requirement, shipping method and the date you need it — so we do not promise a rush date before those are checked.
- Packing
- Individual packing, OPP or a custom bag, backer cards, barcode and SKU labels and carton marks as required — plus neutral and white-label packing where the goods ship straight into your own fulfilment line.
