What it is

A webbing loop or a fabric tag, not a charm.

A fabric or webbing keychain carries the brand mark on the strap rather than on a moulded charm. The body is a loop of webbing, a short strap or a flat fabric tag, the mark is woven, printed or embroidered onto it, and the hardware — split ring, hook or clip — is attached to the end. With no mould and no heavy charm, this is the structure that repeats most cheaply and travels best: a flight tag or a luggage tag that is handled every day and still reads as the brand.

Structure & materials

Polyester, nylon or RPET, cut to your length.

The strap is quoted in polyester, nylon or RPET webbing, with cotton twill and satin also used for tag-style bodies, at the width and the length you specify. The mark is woven, or printed by heat transfer or silkscreen. Where the body is a cut fabric tag, contours, tabs and inside cut-outs are trimmed on our 30+ vision-guided cutting machines, so the finished edge stays consistent from the approved sample through to the bulk run.

Size, hardware & detail

Strap width and length, and the closure it needs.

We quote the strap width and length, the tag size and the closure: a split ring for keys and charms, a hook or clip for bags and quick release, a swivel where the tag should spin without tangling the strap, or a webbing loop where the strap itself is the attachment. The smallest line of a woven or printed mark is still tested at the finished size, and where the mark is embroidered we say so if the lettering is finer than a stitch can hold, rather than producing something that cannot be read.

Where it is used

Bag charms, flight tags and event merch.

These are bought as bag and backpack charms, as flight tags and luggage tags, and as event or retail merch where the unit cost and the pack-out per piece decide the order. Museum, city and souvenir lines and club or team programmes use the same structure at a smaller run, and a design that proves itself is repeated from the approved artwork and sample rather than being redeveloped.

What we need before this can be quoted.

Artwork
Vector artwork is ideal — AI, PDF, EPS or SVG with fonts outlined — and a high-resolution raster file also works. Send it with the product type, size, quantity, material, backing, packing requirement, application and the date you need the goods in hand.
Sample
A physical sample is produced and approved before bulk, and the approved sample becomes the production standard for that run and every reorder. Custom samples are usually chargeable, and by agreement the sample fee can be credited against the bulk order.
Quantity
Each product has its own standard MOQ, and for many custom items it starts at around 100 pcs. There is limited flexibility depending on the process, the artwork and how the order is put together, and below the standard MOQ the unit price may increase. The figure for your specification is confirmed during review.
Colour
Pantone is used as a production reference: thread colour card, PVC colour sample, material sample or a physical sample. Screens and materials never match exactly, so where colour is critical we work from the reference you supply and sign it off on the sample.
Lead time
Bulk production usually takes 7–12 days after artwork approval. Rush orders are accepted but confirmed case by case against capacity, material, process, artwork status, sample requirement, shipping method and the date you need it — so we do not promise a rush date before those are checked.
Packing
Individual packing, OPP or a custom bag, backer cards, barcode and SKU labels and carton marks as required — plus neutral and white-label packing where the goods ship straight into your own fulfilment line.
